What are adjacent Angles?
Two angles are adjacent if they have a common vertex, a common arm and common arm lies in between non common arms.

In figure shown in video
we have 3 angles, 1, 2 and this bigger angle 3. We get three pairs of angles 1 and 3, 2 and 3, 1 and 2. Let us check out which of these are adjacent.
First 1 and 3, 1 and 3 have a common arm OA but we see clearly OA does not lie in between non common arms. 2 and 3 have a common arm OC but OC does not lie in between non common arms. So these two pairs do not form adjacent angles. 1 and 2, 1 and 2 have a common arm OB and clearly OB lies in between OA and OC. Therefore 1 and 2 form a pair of adjacent angles.
