We’ll cover the difference between monolithic systems and microservices, the architectural changes in .NET Core-based solutions for cloud container hosting, and a general overview of container technology using Docker.
Service-oriented, or microservice, software architectures can be used to take advantage of the benefits of cloud and container-based environments. In this session, you’ll get an overview of microservices-based applications development and managing them using containers. Then we’ll dig into the different architectural design and implementation approaches using .NET Core and Docker containers. Finally, we’ll showcase some architectural patterns and container design principles in action by deploying a container as a Docker image in Azure.
