Sony PlayStation (SCPH-1002) - Repair - Not Reading Disc's After Optical Pickup (Laser) Replacement.
In this video I repair a friends Sony PlayStation (SCPH-1002). The Optical Pickup (Laser) has been replaced but it's still not reading disc's.
NOTE...
If it sounds strange when I say the word Potentiometer that's because I went back and overdubbed my Audio. I kept saying the word "Pot" which is an abbreviation for the word Potentiometer. People with knowledge of electronic components will know instantly what I'm referring to when I say "Pot", but the unfamiliar will not so I went back and overdubbed the Audio to Potentiometer.
