Quantum Computing: Building an ecosystem in the region
Quantum computing is advancing from theoretical research to practical applications; therefore, a robust regional ecosystem to support its development is essential. This conference will explore the fundamental components needed to build a sustainable quantum computing ecosystem in Latin America, with a focus on collaboration between academia, industry, and government. We will analyze current global trends in quantum computing and highlight regional efforts to foster innovation, talent development, and investment in this cutting-edge technology, as well as initiatives at the University of Montevideo.
