This is day 105 of my daily SnowRunner Hard Mode Play-through.
In this episode, we arrive into the Kola Peninsula region, starting out of the Garage at Lake Kovd in the TUZ 420 Tartarin. The plan is to start in the Tartarin, which is in its natural environment here in the snow of Northern Russia and start with the Tense Situation contract which takes us via a number of power pylons which run near to the available three watchtowers. We also divert on the way to pick up the little DON scout for the On Thin Ice task, and drop it off at the Guard House nearby, and pick up a couple of upgrades as well. We round off the day by finding the prototype exploration unit (trailer) at the Railway Station, and then doing the Self-Contained Antique task (another delivery of a small scout, this time a TUZ 166), before completing the Overturned Train Carriage contest (but missed gold by like 2 seconds :)).
I am playing with the standard Snow Runner Hard Mode rules:
You have to pay for your fuel & repairs;
You have to pay for your vehicle deployment;
You have to pay for your vehicle recovery;
You have to pay every time you load cargo automatically;
You are not able to sell your trailers and semi-trailers;
You sell your trucks and equipment for half its price;
Contests are restricted in the number of tries you make;
You have to search for the facilities with the cargo that you need by yourself;
You are not able to skip forwards in time.
On top of these, I have also added the following rules:
No mods;
Only solo gameplay, no co-op / multiplayer;
Region must be 100% complete before starting the next region;
Regions must be executed in the standard Snow Runner sequence;
Only vehicles native to the region may be purchased/deployed in that region.
