Lower earning spouse is 4 years older than me. If she starts benefits at her full retirement age of 66and I start at 62, will her spousal benefit be half of my reduced $$ or half of my full benefit?

71 -99% can be collected by widows (from spousal Soc. Sec.), if they retire at least at 60. Can’t find what qualifies you for the higher rate?

Social Security do over. Did you know that it can take 18 months to get approval? I experienced this first hand. Perhaps because I was over FRA when I applied.
