How do you create light streaks in Photoshop?
A new layer appears above the Background layer. As I mentioned at the beginning, we're going to create our light streaks by drawing paths and then stroking the paths with a brush. To draw paths, we need the Pen Tool, so select it from the Tools palette. You can also press the letter P to select it with the keyboard shortcut: Select the Pen Tool.
The light streak overlays work smoothly in Adobe Photoshop, Creative Cloud, GIMP, and other programs with layer support. They are available in PNG format and can help Windows and Mac users diversify their image editing routine. You can achieve the most spectacular results if you edit pictures smaller than 800*533px.
