A class with only data items and without methods that operate on this data is of a little or no use. The objects created bu such a class cannot perform any operation. Therefore, you must add methods that are necessary for processing the data contained in the class. There are a number of reasons to use methods. Some of them are listed below:
i. Methods can be reused in a program without the need to rewrite the same code. Thus, methods provide the means to avoid duplication of the code and help in code reusability.
ii. They help divide complex programs into manageable code blocks.
