XML sitemaps are a very important factor in Google search and for SEO. The first step is to log in to your WordPress site go to your SEO - general - features. You can click on your site map URL. Log in your google search console click sitemap. Copy your sitemaps url and paste into your google search console. If the url is good you can see success.
