Pinterest Limits for Pins, Boards, Likes & Follows
Unbeknown to many, there are in fact limits to the numbers of Pins, Boards, Likes & Follows that you can have on a single Pinterest account. These limits are summed up below:
500 boards (This includes secret boards and group boards you didn't create.)
200,000 Pins (This includes secret Pins and your Pins on group boards you didn't create. This doesn't include other people's Pins on group boards you created.)
100,000 likes
50,000 follows
These limits essentially allow Pinterest to run quickly, which is why it does not make any exceptions to them.
At the same time, these limits should not be a cause for too much concern for you.
If you got an error that you hit a limit, try deleting some Pins or boards, unliking Pins or unfollowing people. You can also create a new account with another email address.
In fact, the best thing to do if you hit a limit is to create a new Pinterest account with another email address.
