Now, the learning process will be discussed on it in more detail. So let us go stepwise. So this learning process is having multiple different phases through which it will go through. ⭐ What is Machine Learning? ⭐
In 1959, Arthur Samuel first used the term "machine learning." He established the field of machine learning as "the study that provides computers the power to learn without being explicitly taught," and he was a pioneer in artificial intelligence and computer gaming.
Machine learning, to put it simply, is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that allows the software to learn from its mistakes and become better at a task without being explicitly programmed. How would you, for instance, create a computer that can recognize fruits according to their numerous characteristics, such as color, shape, size, or any other characteristic?
So, we can describe machine learning as the study of enabling computers to learn with minimal human interaction, i.e., no explicit programming, thereby enabling them to behave and make decisions more like humans. The topic of how a program can get experience and where it learns now arises. The solution is data. We can affirm that there is no machine learning without data, which is often referred to as the fuel for machine learning.
