This video demonstrates how to build a size-adjustable, 3D hex head machine screw with Solidworks.
I am using Solidworks 2013. The screw in the video is a metric screw and it conforms to ISO standard. It makes use of design table and equations in Solidworks, in order to make it size-adjustable. You can change the screw diameter by selecting in the configuration tab. Thread size, pitch, head diameter, head thickness and recess size will be changed automatically. You can also change to any length by changing the extrude length in the feature.
