If I'd start a YouTube channel in 2025 - this is how I'd do it
When you want to grow a new YouTube channel quick, do this research FIRST.
Make sure to create a new YouTube channel for a blank viewing profile.
Start to watch a lot of videos.
See what YouTube suggests to you on the YouTube home screen.
This gives your valuable information on what viewers will also see when they watch videos in the niche.
Write down visual triggers that the competition uses which makes you click on a video.
This will enable you to do the same thing for your videos.
Gather video ideas by looking at the competition.
Look what works for them, and what not.
Try to see if you can apply ideas of related niches to your niche.
I'm looking for videos that have a lot of views, weren't uploaded long ago and on small channels.
This tells me about the demand of a video topic, which we can apply to our own channel.
Figure out the pain-points, fears and motivators of your audience.
You can use this for video ideas, titles and thumbnails.
If you already have a youtube channel (and want to start over for example), analyze that channel and explain why things worked (or not).
The amount of video views, traffic sources and audience retention graphs are important to look at.
