Unlock Hollywood: What I Learned in Los Angeles (7 Tips for Young Filmmakers)
For the second time, I had the great honor of being invited to the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards in Hollywood. Four days full of workshops, exciting talks and unforgettable encounters - it was amazing. But how do you actually manage to get to Hollywood and get your films off the ground?
I asked for valuable tips from some of the biggest names in the international filmmaking industry such as Matti Haapoja, Danny Gevirtz, Alica Robbins, Checco Varase, Zimy Da Kid, James Matthews and Kate Reid. A colorful mix of well-known YouTubers and DoPs who have filmed Game of Thrones, Grey's Anatomy or Stephen King's It, among others.
