In this video I'll show you my chord melody arrangement of When Sunny Gets Blue jazz guitar. We have a great jazz ballad here, mostly known for Nat King Cole 's rendition.
I'll show you all the When Sunny Gets Blue guitar chords for solo guitar, as well as the melody. When we weave the jazz guitar chords and the melody together we get, what is called a chord melody arrangement.
A lot of people claim this to be the supreme discipline of jazz guitar playing. I make my arrangemnts as easy as possible, while still trying to keep them interesting with plenty of fascinating jazz guitar chords in there. My intermediate arrangements never make you sound like a beginner, but are easy to master.
In my When Sunny Gets Blue guitar tutorial, I'll show you everything note for note, slow and easy. I'll also play through each of the phrases or sections at slow tempo. Also some theory is thrown in between, when necessary. For me that's an important aspect, bc this enables me to teach you some important theory knowledge, while at the same time implementing it imideately. That`s how we learn best.
Of course I've also made the When Sunny Gets Blue guitar TAB, including regular music notation. I also made a When Sunny Gets Blue backing track, so you can start practicing right away, or use the backing track for a show to play over.
