In this video tutorial, you will learn how to create a Relational Database Service (RDS) MySQL instance in AWS, connect to it from MySQL Workbench and as well learn how to create new database, tables and insert data into them.
First, I will guide you through the process of creating an RDS MySQL instance using the AWS Management Console. You will learn how to configure instance settings such as instance type, storage, database instance type etc.
Next, I will show you how to connect to your newly created RDS MySQL instance from MySQL Workbench using the endpoint provided by AWS.
Once connected, I will demonstrate how to create a new database and table in the RDS MySQL instance using MySQL Workbench. You will also learn how to insert data into the table.
The knowledge will help you to start building and managing your own MySQL database in the cloud.
