SegaSonic the hedgehog speed run on actual arcade cabinet! (
I don’t have a way to time this while on vacation, but it should be about a 13 minute 45 second run based on time start on character select (which the video briefly starts at the moment the timer counted down) until the moment the game over screen pops up. Really wish I could have actually beat the game on that run, but the trackball messed up at the last stage, and I was running out of tokens and time to try again. Maybe if I visit Miami again in the near future and the cabinet is still there I can try again.
Apparently this is the first run on speedrun.com to actually be done on an arcade cabinet instead of emulation, so that’s a bonus!
