Self-Monitoring & Word Problems | 3rd Grade Reading and Math | Teaching In Room 9
In this lesson, children learn about how to self-monitor by asking themselves the question "Does it sound right?" as they read practice sentences. Then, with Mrs. Brewer, children solve a word problem involving equal groups. Mrs. Brewer will show different strategies that can be used to break down the problem and solve the problem.
