Lyrics:
I had a whole world in the palm of my hands,
But its complexity was not for them to understand
For everything I keep the same as before,
I will feel no fear - it leaves me wanting more.
All I wanted was to help, but I guess I couldn't help myself.
Victory is oh so sweet when the entire world is in retreat.
Stop holding your pride -
Release it, make them bleed, and watch the world run dry.
I refuse to let my face show any weakness in this race that we call life.
On this mountain made of gold,
I've kept them in control and sold them into strife unending.
Let them fight it out.
All my life is but a flash; coin and paper, dust and ash-
What's the difference? I won't tell as long as I can help myself.
I see them staring up at me with hungry eyes. What a shame-
They should've kept them on the prize.
They will never see the light; acquiesce without a fight
They're the leeches in the cracks-- taking, giving nothing back.
They will all do as they're told; we've forever bought and sold them.
