How to Paint Wood FAST: 3 ways - Contrast, Drybrush, Wash/Shade
In this video, we're covering how to paint wood/woodgrain, it's packed with tonnes of useful painting tips, tricks and techniques, taking us through how to achieve basic different wood types, and then how to nuance/enhance them and add more visual interest and contrast! Textured wood and planks are common in Warhammer AOS and Warhammer 40K, both on miniatures and terrain, this tutorial is also handy for Dungeons and Dragons, and any other fantasy games/terrain pieces.
We are using GW/Citadel Contrast, Drybrushing/Stippling, and Shading/Washing techniques here, so there is something for everyone!
All the rules and processes are flexible, so you can easily substitute your own paint in, to use this tutorial to help you paint your army.
