How to Use Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest Fragment | Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest | Flightstones
Whelpling Shadowflame Crests are the lowest tier of upgrade token in Dragonflight Season 2. They are created by combining 15 Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest Fragment. Whelpling Shadowflame Crest fragments are earned through multiple sources. The first kills per week of LFR Aberrus Bosses award 10, and 15 per wing-end boss. M+2 to M+5 awards 5 fragments for completing a key and 12 if the key is completed in time. World Quests, Treasures and Rares can reward between 1 and 10 fragments each. You can also buy up to 30 Whelpling Shadowflame Crest Fragments per week from Spinsoa for Unearthed Fragrant Coin. Players can earn 150 Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest Fragment during the first week of 10.1, and each subsequent week will increase the weekly cap by 150 so that after a few weeks, the cap will be high enough that no player will be hindered by it. Additionally, fragments earned through non-repeatable quests do not count towards this cap.
Whelpling Shadowflame Crests are used in combination with Flightstones to upgrade Dragonflight Season 2 PvE items from item levels 402 to 411 (Adventurer rank 5/8 to 8/8 and Veteran rank 1/8 to 4/8), where one crest is required per rank upgrade.
