How to make elephant toothpaste - behind the scenes with Nanogirl and Boris
Elephant toothpaste is the name for a very messy experiment that shows what happens when you add a catalyst to hydrogen peroxide to accelerate it's production of oxygen gas. To see the oxygen produced dishwasing liquid is used to trap the gas into bubbles making it more visual.
