How to Move Davinci Resolve to a Different Drive!! | Save Space | Improve Performance
Here is all the commands you need:
robocopy "{Old Resolve Folder}" "{New Resolve Folder}" /sec /move /e
mklink "{Old Resolve Folder}" "{New Resolve Folder}" /j
To check if the mklink is successful:
fsutil reparsepoint query "{Old Resolve Folder}"
Note: When you right-click the directory junction in File Explorer and view its properties, it might display the path as if the files are located in the original location (E drive) because it’s designed to act like the original folder.
File Explorer doesn’t always show the junction's target path directly in the "Location" or "Target" field, which can be confusing. This might lead you to think that the transfer did not take place when it did.
