Potiammanga is a village located a short distance from Fada N'Gourma, designated as a grazing area since the 1980s, according to the mayor of Fada N'Gourma. The farmers who have lived there for years refuse to leave the area during this rainy season.
According to municipal authorities, they have received several orders to leave the area, but this order has not been carried out. This refusal led to clashes between herders and farmers, and then to the forced eviction of the farmers by the Fada town hall.
