Learn how to create a custom Canva frame with the help of Adobe Ilustrator.
What is a Canva frame?
In Canva you can use a feature called a frame and when you add a picture to a frame the picture will take the shape of the frame. If you are familiar with other design programs like Photoshop or Illustrator this is similar to a clipping mask effect.
Canva has a wide variety of frames to choose from, but there may be a particular shape that you can't find. In this case you can use the help of Illustrator to create a custom frame that you can use in Canva.

Use frames in Canva
Create a flower shape in Adobe Illustrator
Place an image in Illustrator and create a clipping mask
Export your shape as a PDF and upload it into Canva
Delete the image and start using your custom frame
