Røde NT-SF 1 AMBISONIC MIC audio test vs studio mic
As a studio engineer I am really wanting this to work in the studio environment. I put it up against a superb B&K 4006 omni and a hand built Thuresson CM-402 (set to omni)
I think it sounds great, very silent. When folded down to mono you have to take into consideration it is 4 audio tracks running. The NT-SF1 was recorded with a Zoom F8. The others were recorded with a UAD Apollo Twin with the Neve 1073 preamp. I'm very happy with this mic.
