Korea’s monetary policy amid an accelerated global monetary tightening
The Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) will host Changyong Rhee, governor of the Bank of Korea.
Governor Rhee will give a briefing on the Bank of Korea’s monetary policy actions since the first interest rate hike last year and delve into October’s monetary policy decision that comes amid an accelerated global monetary tightening cycle. He will also comment on recent lessons learned from work on the Integrated Policy Framework and forward guidance.
