🛠️ Steps Shown in the Video (Detailed Walkthrough)
1. Put the Firestick Remote in Pairing Mode
Press and hold the Home button for ~10 seconds.
✔️ The LED at the top should start flashing.
✔️ This means the remote is searching for your Firestick.
2. If LED Does NOT Flash
Replace the batteries
Try again holding Home for 30 seconds
If it still doesn’t flash → Reset the remote
3. How to Reset the Firestick Remote
Press and hold these 3 buttons:
Left
Menu (≡)
Back (↩)
Hold for 20–30 seconds to force a reset.
Then try pairing again.
4. If Remote Flashes But Won’t Pair
Restart your Firestick:
Unplug power
Plug back in
While booting, hold the Home button until it flashes again
5. Confirming Successful Pairing
Once paired:
The Fire TV will show “Remote Connected”
You can navigate menus immediately
Under Settings → Controllers & Bluetooth Devices, you’ll see both remotes if you're adding a second one
