If you think transferring images onto fabric is too complicated then this video is for you. A simple way to transfer beautiful images from magazines and books onto fabric, in this case, a piece of vintage cotton. The finished piece was stained with tea and incorporates hand stitching, fused appliqué and acrylic paint to further add to the antique feel. The roses were cut from fabric in my stash, it's always a joy to use fabric that has been sitting around for a while to give it a second lease of life. The paint used is acrylic but you can use emulsion or an image transfer medium if you have one. This is just one way to transfer images but it is an easy way to start especially if you already have paint to hand. As aways, thank you for watching, your comments are really appreciated, apologies if I run out of time to reply to every single one but please know I do read them all and am grateful to everyone who takes the time to leave a message. Thank you - happy creating, love Lindsey. x
