PROGRE redesigns iconic cover of SCOTT CAMPBELL'S MARY JANE, a controversy surrounding the world of illustration and comics. Artist Scott Campbell is an American illustrator born in 1973 who has become one of the most well-known and acclaimed artists in the world of comics. His work specializes primarily in covers and illustrations for Marvel, the vast majority in the superhero genre. He has also worked for Marvel with The Fantastic Four and Spider-Man. He has also worked for DC with Catwoman and Wonder Woman; or for other projects with Xena Warrior Princess and Red Sonja, Danger Girl comics, etc. Scott Campbell is a highly respected and well-known artist in the industry, and one whose work is especially beloved and well-known by fans.
The cover of issue 601 of The Amazing Spider-Man, which shows a yearning Mary Jane watching her love swing between buildings during a superhero mission. Through TUMBLR, a progressive with the username NONBINARYFINNMERTENS decided to "fix" the cover by redesigning Mary Jane's pose.
