Celebrities and Art Kovers enjoyed and evening of food and entertainment for the Opening Night Premiere Party Hosted by Ali Larter & Hayes McArthur with James Franco, Guest of Honor at the Patron Reception.
The LA Art Show brought a large grouping of International Galleries to the City . Now in it s 18th year, the LA Art Show featured important galleries from Canada, China, England, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Russia and Venezuela alongside American counterparts. Equally dispersed between the Modern & Contemporary Section and the Historic & Traditional Contemporary Section, the International galleries will comprise of 25 percent of all participating exhibitors at the upcoming show. The Show will also feature a special exhibition China: FUSION, a showcase of emerging artists from Mainland China which highlights the artist s fusion of East and West culture through content and form.
International Galleries participating in the Modern & Contemporary Section include: Arteria & Gallery Jones Fine Arts from Canada; Paul Stolper Gallery, Waterhouse and Dodd and Michael Goedhuis from England; King Space, 186 Projects, Hao Li Art Center, Hao Space, Phoenix Art Palace, and Shanghai Nancy Culture & Communication Co. from China; Gallery G-77 and Watanabe Fine Art from Japan; The Valentine Ryabov Galleryfrom Russia, Dado Art Gallery and Art Company Midsool Sidae from South Korea; Villa del Arte Galleries from Spain and Galerie Moro from Venezuela. Schuebbe Projects from Germany, Studio AKKA from Italy and Systema Gallery from Japan will also be participating in the Project Spaces Section.
