HOW TO DOWNLOAD, CONVERT, AND PLAY PSX PSONE PS1 CLASSICS ON YOUR PSP - PSP Emulator Series #5
*IMPORTANT: If the PSX you are trying to convert does NOT end in the file extension .ECM then you can skip forward to 6:40 when I start compiling the EBOOT with IceTea*
This is a pretty long, pretty involved, tutorial on how to Download, Extract, Convert, and Play Playstation 1 classics, otherwise known as PSX or PSOne games, on your PSP device. You MUST have custom firmware for this to work. Some games may require a Popsloader plugin, especially on older firmwares. I will upload a tutorial on how to install Popsloader when I get time.
In this tutorial, I download a PSX game (WHICH I OWN, if you do not own the game, downloading it is considered ILLEGAL and COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. DON'T BE A DOUCHEBAG). The site that I use has their PSX ISO images converted to an ECM file extension. This file extension is basically like another layer of compression, it allows the downloads to be smaller, and take less time. In order to convert this type of file, you must first decompress it. To do so, I use a program called GEMC 2.0. Once decompressed, you must convert it to an EBOOT file. I use a program called IceTea 1.3, download links are below. Make sure once you download the PSX, and it is in RAR or ZIP format, you extract it to an easily located directory.
First the site I get ALL of my PSX games from:

IceTea 1.3: http://90acc4e1.linkbucks.com (Click Link, then SKIP AD)
If you are having trouble with any of the programs, before leaving flames in the comments, please try RIGHT CLICKING the application, and selecting RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR first. Please, DO NOT ask questions about things that are clearly covered in the video (i.e. "Will this work on my PSP?") because I will IGNORE YOU.
