First time on China’s high speed train for my parents
When we first moved to Northeast China, a trip like this would have meant spending 12 hours on a sleeper train. These days, with high-speed rail reaching even smaller cities, it’s a comfortable journey of just a few hours.
What made it even better was having my mum and stepdad here to keep the kids entertained for the entire trip, while Nicole and I actually got to sit back and relax for once.
