Embedded Programming: Variables Part 1
In this video we examine integers and basic math operations along with the printf() function.
Regarding the various sizes of integers, you can always determine the number of bytes an item uses by applying the sizeof() function. sizeof() will return the number of bytes used by the item in question. For example, sizeof(x) will tell how many bytes are required for variable X, regardless of how it was declared. This is how you can determine whether or "vanilla int" is 2 bytes or 4 bytes.
