An introduction to Power BI’s new DAX OFFSET function (Sports League Table example)
The new OFFSET function in DAX is very useful. This short video introduces OFFSET using an example based on data from a sports league table to calculate how many points lead a team has over the team below it in the table.
This is the first in a series about OFFSET and the other DAX Window functions, WINDOW and INDEX. Other videos will follow in the next few weeks that show more use cases and explain OFFSET in more detail.
