Python officially announced in 1991 but Python 1 was launched in 1994.
It was Not that much compatible and user-friendly as compared to JAVA on that time.
After that in 2008 Python was launch and its is quite effective as compared to previous one.
From Python 2 users like to work with python.
But after Python 2 there is a massive upgrade was done with python and in 2008 Python 3 was launched.
It is very good and effective but not backward compatible.
Means if we run any code in python3 so that same code not compatible with Python2 and vice-versa.
So due to this we configure all libraries which is present in Python2 is again rewrite with Python3.
After 2020 there is no maintenance on Python 2.
Now we discuss About the name of language which is python so our developer who develop python like British comedy tv show Monty Python Flying Circus.
So on that TV show he named his language Python. It not related to any snake.
