How I edit my youtube videos (5000 subscribers video!)
This video is how I edit my youtube videos in Sony Vegas and use Powerpoint for special effects like lower thirds, 3D animations, and generating really eye catching slides. These techniques are able to be applied to a wide variety of software
I'm celebrating 5000 subscribers by making a information packed video to help out new youtubers, but also to tell a bit more about myself to the community that got me to this amazing achievement. While I use Sony Vegas for editing, this process would work with most editors that have video tracks such as PowerDirector.

Basic edit for infromation density

LUT and color grading to improve the look
3 killer powerpoint tricks (Lower thirds, Eye catching slides, 3D animations)
-Adding a chrome keyed layer (Lower third) in Vegas
Cleanly inserting and Animating a photo to do a tracking shot
Adding an outro screen
please note this was done in one take, so I didn't post process things like keyboard thunks into the mic or anything. I wanted this to be a raw look at my process, and a more personal look since it's a 5000 subscriber celebration. if I get a lot of interest I can make a more produced video that goes into what it took me to make a solid 'maker' channel.
