In today's hunt, we're equipped with the Deadeye Destroyer 2, featuring 3 recoil suppressors, a deviation suppressor, and a shield for that extra bit of safety. Our armor set includes the Hornetaur Helm Betta, Razor Sharp Charm, and 4 pieces of the Fat Alis Beta, providing us with Sleep Attack, Dungmaster, and Spare Shot skills. Remember, it's not about having the exact setup but about using what works best for you, especially anything that supports sleep attacks.
Our item loadout is crucial for successful crown hunting. Make sure to bring Sleep ammo or coating, Dung Pods to deal with any unwelcome guests, a Farcaster for quick camp returns, shock traps, and the all-important Barrel Bomb G for that explosive damage. While not strictly necessary, bringing extra materials for these items can be a backup lifesaver.
Hunting for crowns isn't straightforward, but we've got the method down. Focus on investigations with a high chance of crowns, lure your target to a flat area, and use sleep tactics to position your Barrel Bomb G optimally. Unfortunately, we can't utilize the shock trap method, but the ghillie mantle provides an alternative approach.
We'll guide you through measuring monster sizes with screenshots and comparisons. Though our method isn't perfect due to the game's variability in monster sizes, with practice and patience, you'll become a crown hunting expert in no time. Remember, if the monster isn't the size you're after, it's better to abandon and retry than to waste time on a fruitless hunt.
