MusicGen has been repeatedly downloading models even though the models have already been downloaded to my computer. Some changes occur when new updates are released, and the new folder name is different, so the apps assume there has been an update and download the new models. The problems have been resolved by simply stopping the download and moving the old model files to a new folder. As a result, I am not sure if it is a bug because if you want to use the cache files, you need to do something else. In the end, I just backed up the entire 5-model folder to a safe location and copied the necessary models to the new folders. Hope this issue will be solved in the next update.
All the model files are located in the system partition C:\Users\username\.cache\huggingface\hub\(subfolders).ใ
