Report builder Modules :
The Reports Builder interface enables you to create a number of different types of modules, and it provides a Report Editor in which you can view the structure and objects in a report module.

PL/SQL Library

Report:
Oracle Reports is a tool for developing reports against data stored in an Oracle database.
Oracle Reports consists of Oracle Reports Developer (a component of the Oracle Developer Suite) and Oracle Application Server Reports Services (a component of the Oracle Application Server).

Template:
A skeleton definition containing common style and standards; can include graphics; provides a standard format to enable quick and easy development of professional standard look-and-feel reports.

PL/SQL Library:
A stand-along library containing PL/SQL program units such as
Procedures
Functions
Packages
That can be called from multiple reports.

Report Module Components:
A report consists of objects that collectively define the report:

Data Model Objects
Paper Layout Objects
Paper Parameter Form Objects
PL/SQL objects
Web Source

Paper Layout Objects:
The Paper Layout objects define the format of the report including the positioning and appearance of data, text, and graphics.
The main layout objects fall into the following categories.
-Frames
-Repeating frames
-Fields
-Boilerplate
-Anchors
Paper Layout Sections:
There are three layout sections.
Such as-
-Header section
-Main section
-Trailer section

PL/SQL objects:
program units
Triggers

Web Source :
-Displays the HTML/JSP source for a report. You can use this to add dynamic content to a web page using the Report Block Wizard and the Graph Wizard. You can also edit the Web source directly in this view.
-Code shown in the Web Source view (for JSP-based Web reports)
