A land filled with rich Viking heritage and remnants of ancient Norse settlements, the connection between Scotland and Scandinavia is a fascinating subject to dive in to. But what happens when a squad of Shetland Vikings descend upon the lively and cosmopolitan city of Glasgow?
This week, a group of ancient Scottish islanders were in the city looking for a spot of pampering and relaxation (cocktails and epic beard trims, anyone?!) before the Follow the Vikings celebrations kick off this September as part of Scotland’s Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology 2017.
