The Most Unique Night Market in Thailand 🇹🇭 | Sam Roi Yot Beach Night Market
We found what might just be Thailand’s most unique night market, and you’ve probably never heard of it. Located right on the beach in Sam Roi Yot, this market has you walking around on actual sand while grabbing food and drinks from dozens of stalls. It’s laid-back, local, and seriously special.
One of the highlights is a stall from หมูหันท่านอ๋อง (Than Ong Whole Spit Roast Pig), the famous roast pork place we visited in Hua Hin. They’ve brought their entire setup to the beach and it’s absolutely unreal.
I also tried an incredible duck laab made by a lovely couple, and of course, Finley was buzzing with his favourite pork skewers and crispy fried chicken.
So what is Sam Roi Yot? It’s a peaceful, underrated area just a couple of hours south of Bangkok in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. Known for its national park, stunning limestone mountains and quiet beaches, it’s still relatively undiscovered when it comes to food and tourism.
