Howa Mini Action: She’s Japanese, Reliable, and Slightly Flawed (Rifle Too)
This is an updated Nutnfancy review on the Japanese-made Howa Mini Action bolt gun, on loan from Gunnies (Orem, UT ,thanks boys). Chambered in what used to be the hotness, the 6.5 Grendel, it’s now a bit of a forgotten caliber. I ran 400 rounds through this one to see if the platform and round still have merit.

The Howa Mini remains a competent, Remington 700-based rifle with great quality and updated chamberings. This is a GRV (Gun Review Video) done in the field, raw and honest. You’ll hear my take on the rifle, see my preferred competitors, and get all the deets on SAWC, features, and real-world performance.
A couple of quirks did dull my excitement a little but it's still a solid bolt gun.
