Using the full-screen mode in Windows 10 is simple. You do not want any distractions and want to focus on things in front of you. People usually go to full screen mode when playing games or watching video. You can do both activities in your favorite browser such as Chrome, or video player like VLC on your PC.

Some users encounter this problem where the taskbar is not hidden in fullscreen mode. That ruins the experience, especially when you can see all the icons with constant notifications that made them blink. In both cases, we do not want that.

Let's see how we can resolve the Windows 10 taskbar is not hidden in fullscreen error.

1. UPDATE AND RESTART WINDOWS

Windows 10 provides many ways to personalize your PC, and one of them is the ability to hide the taskbar automatically when not in use. This means taskbar will only reveal itself when you hover the mouse pointer at the bottom of the screen. Here is how the desktop appears when the taskbar is hidden.
