Gigafactory Texas on 19 November 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Burnt orange skies over Giga Texas this early morning, but the strange light reveals some serious progress in several key areas around the site! We spend a good amount of time in the south end to try and document it all, and to help witness the near completion of the main factory structure ... what a milestone to see!

Also, Harold Green Road has been renamed to “Tesla Road” with a new highway sign officially marking this change! Very cool to see yet another major milestone for Giga Texas!

Here are some highlights from today's video:
We review a photo of the new highway sign showing “Tesla Road” instead of the former Harold Green Road signs. This one is on a new concrete pillar overhanging SH-130 and indicating the off-ramp to gain access to the factory.
The central area steel structure has now reached the south perimeter grade beam and is getting the last of the roof truss structures installed this morning. Roof beams will follow quickly, and roof decking is being installed right behind. We get some good shots of all this activity today!
South pond area work is moving quickly too. The water splitter box has most of the framing and forms installed inside and final preparations for concrete pour seems to be in progress. The large retaining wall has several openings possibly for pipe connections and the pond perimeter wall is being extended to nearly join the large retaining wall. Geotextile membrane installation has now increased to about 85% installed and the overall appearance of the pond is really defined now. More earthwork near the south and ease areas of the pond itself, and the (temporary?) overflow area on the north side also looks more defined.
The south end of the General Assembly structure is getting large containers lifted into the second floor, and it appears more crates have been delivered on the ground floor as well. On the east side, more semi-trucks delivering equipment into the loading dock areas of the active General Assembly area, which is likely related to production. Window trim installation continues as well on eh west side.
On the east side, we see more concrete pours next to the body in white structure. These are either parking locations and/or loading dock areas according to the site plan. Also on the east side, we see the work on the underground gas pipe continuing, but most of the work seems to be wrapping up. The site plan indicates a road will be installed over this area, running north to south and parallel to the main structure and just to the east of the powerlines.
The north roof area "vault" structure, active vents and the area over the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer system is progressing towards completion as well. There is a new square area just next to the Thermal Oxidizer roof area that is getting repairs, I think.
North end parking lot area is getting landscaping grass installed around the new berm area, and work on the charger stations seems to be moving slowly for now.
We also take the opportunity to look inside the north end, to see progress inside the plastics manufacturing area (between the paint shop and battery cell) and inside the battery cell structure ground floor as well as a sweep along the 2nd and 3rd floors on the northwest corner.
Plenty more to see including deliveries on the far east side, storm water pipe construction in the east parking area and more!
