This model is still in the "alpha" stages, so bugs and glitches are expected. The basic concept of this stereo is that it can be used much more compact and efficiently than the normal note block method. There are many advantages to this. One example of an advantage is that you don't have to follow the redstone signal to listen to the song.
The song is played at speed x4 in the end of the video just for fun ;)
