AGI is here: Why is nobody talking about it?
We've crossed the threshold into AGI. Artificial General Intelligence. Not in the form of a Terminator, but quietly. And the craziest thing about it? We don't even realize it because we're looking for the wrong criteria. When Anthropic announced a single tool last week, the stocks of cybersecurity giants plummeted. Not because of a product—because of a capability. It's not just about my personal definition, but Google's, even if Google isn't saying so yet. I've done the research, compiled the information, and I'm still pretty much alone in this realization. But let me explain. Because this will drastically change all of our lives. Unfortunately, not necessarily for the better. AGI is arguably the most significant revolution since the Industrial Revolution. Creating intelligence via a chip, just like a steam engine creates muscle power via steam.
