Some types of online proctoring software can block AI tools entirely or even allow them in some situations if they choose to (like during an interactive assignment). But to effectively block them, you’ll need to use a combination of the “common” and “advanced” tools listed above. For example, browser lockdown software won’t work by itself because a test taker can still use their cell phone.
