Gmail Label system has a serious bug.2023-06-22
Drag and drop a label to the message you are reading does not do as you expect... it drops the label to the random email that would be displayed UNDER the reading panel. It should obviously add the label to the place you drag and drop, ie if you drag drop to the reading panel, it should add the label to the message you are reading.
