I made Racing Game Car Physics completely from scratch in Bevy with Rust and an ECS system! The rigidbody and collider support as well as general basic physics for the game was provided by bevy rapier 3d. This video probably applies for other game engines and frameworks, if you understand the concept and have a rigidbody and raycasting system it should be easy.
Video Breakdown:
-Adding suspension to our vehicle so it has a bounciness effect
-Making the vehicle accelerate forward and backward
-Applying torque left and right to rotate the vehicle
-Adding mass to the player and lowering center of mass to decrease chances of flipping over
-3D modeling a chassis and wheels for the car
-Changing colliders and wheel positions
-Texturing and expanding the racetrack
-Adding a race/speedrun timer
